about

This is a soundtrack that I wrote for a hypothetical game for Lone Rabbit's OST Composing Jam #3. Again, I drew from the soundtracks that I know well, particularly those by Kenji Ito, Hiroki Kikuta, and Nobuo Uematsu. I was particularly inspired by the Chocobo Racing soundtrack which features Kenji Ito's arrangements of Nobuo Uematsu's iconic music for the 8-bit and 16-bit Final Fantasy games. Although I live in Southern California, I tried to imagine the ways in which the seasons affect foliage, and I also relied heavily on season tropes.

There is less of a cohesive story here, but this hypothetical RPG would center around changing seasons. Since it's an RPG, there are battles of course. This game would be more of a graphical demo to show off a pixel artist's 16-bit work.
