The first jig is an old favorite of mine that I first heard played by Vinnie Kilduff and Brendan O'Regan; it's also featured on the Dervish album Midsummer's Night. The second jig I learned recently from the playing of Stephen Wake. The third jig is a session favorite around here (and many more places, I suspect); I played it to accompany Sean-nós dancer Erica Braverman at my friend Amanda's wedding, and it is Erica who reminded me of the tune. I doubt that the slide needs much introduction as it seems to appear on recordings all the time.
